·         Authorized Indian Representative (AIR) nomination form: If you are a foreign manufacturer, you will need to nominate an AIR in India who will be responsible for dealing with BIS on your behalf.

NOTE: - The time taken for this process of getting a BIS certificate will be between 4 to 6 months but, it’s important to note that the specific requirements and documentation can vary depending on the product category and the relevant Indian Standard (IS) codes.
