  WHAT IS THE EXTENDED PRODUCER’S RESPONSIBILITY? Extended producer’s responsibility (EPR) uses monetary encouragement to encourage manufacturers to design ecological products by holding manufacturers responsible for the costs of managing their products at the end of life.
